Joining Lift is honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. The energy is always so welcoming, fun and full of encouragement. As someone who knew nothing about lifting and had a lot of gym anxiety, I instantly felt at ease from the comfortable and positive environment created by the coaches. Joining Lift Studio London was one of the best decisions I’ve made. As someone who has never really been physically active, Danni and Mimi have created an environment where I have gained knowledge, consistency, strength and confidence in the gym. The community at Lift is so uplifting and non-judgmental. I love every session and have never felt healthier or happier.

I have been a member of Lift Studio for over a year and cannot recommend it enough. I have always trained - both as part of sports clubs and generally as something I enjoy doing, but have never been fortunate enough to enjoy such carefully curated programmes that have seen me manage the after effects of a serious injury better than ever before (not through lack of trying over 10 years!) Although it is the perfect place for anyone looking to build confidence and start out in the gym, it is just as great for people who have previously trained and are looking for something to commit to that will keep pushing them and allow them to grow - all credit for this to the amazing trainers who really know what they are talking about! On top of all the above, the environment in the studio is unbelievably welcoming and filled with awesome women!

Joining lift as one of the older members has been a revelation. I'd never lifted before and I'm so pleased I have started. I feel strong, and energised and cannot believe how much doing a morning session sets me up for the day without feeling positive and purposeful. The coaches are knowledgeable, kind, encouraging but best of all lots of fun. I love training with a mixed group of women, age is not a barrier, and everyone is friendly, welcoming and supportive. I have improved my diet mainly by adding in lots of protein but even this small adjustment has led to gains, aesthetic was never the goal but I have lost weight and feel toned and strong. Sessions at Lift have become a non-negotiable habit and I couldn't imagine a week without my sessions now.  wish I'd found Lift Studio a long time ago but it's never too late as they always say in this instance and in this instance it's definitely not.

I am SO in love with Lift! I’ve always been a chopper and changer when it comes to exercise, trying out different things and never sticking. Which is great in some ways as I never get bored… but I was struggling a lot with my mental health and feeling a bit lost a few months ago and decided to pursue something I’d always been curious about - weight lifting. I wanted to make a commitment to myself and meet it, to strengthen my mental resilience. Lift has been PERFECT for this, I tend to go twice a week, early morning sessions and have fallen in love with it. I always leave feeling ready to face the day. I’ve never known such a supportive environment before (I had horrible experiences with PE and sport when I was younger and have always felt a bit fat and out of place when working out) and they really encourage you to challenge yourself, not with a mean “if you don’t do this EVERYONE here has to plank” type attitude (which I hate) but by genuine encouragement, that makes me want to try hard to get a PB as they believe I can. It’s also really reassuring that the classes are so small as I know when pushing myself that their eyes are firmly on me, and I won’t be risking damaging or hurting myself. I have been going for a couple of months now and genuinely want to carry on for years and years.

 Such a welcoming place to train! I've made numerous attempts to get into traditional strength training but no effort has ever lasted longer than a month at best. Typical reasons really... anxiety of being in the free weight section fighting burly men for dumbbells, insecurity in my form and just an overall lack of motivation to keep going to the gym alone. I can truly say working out here has remedied all those fears that were holding me back from my previous attempts. I've been working out here for almost a year now, and can whole heartedly say it has been one of the best decisions I have made for my health, fitness and well-being. All the instructors are so patient and informative. Especially because the sessions are max 6 people, they're really attentive to all the girls. You never feel like you're slacking behind or not putting in your all if you're not moving as much weight as the other girls in the session. They really push you to hold yourself accountable to your own pace and goals. I've gained so much knowledge and confidence, that I can now walk into my local gym and not feel like I'm out of my depth, and just that change alone is worth all the time I've spent here.
